I wanted to illustrate through this animation I created on After Effects that the Philippines is composed of approximately *7,640 islands, each unique yet connected to form the nation. The gaps between the letters mirror the scattered islands across the sea, emphasizing both the distance and unity of the archipelago. As the letters and colors (Philippine flag colors) subtly shift or appear, they represent the movement and diversity of these islands, inviting viewers to see the Philippines as a collection of many parts coming together as one.
