Color Everything (Book illustration, logo creation, advertisements, social media)
The Color of Mother is a poem written by Chelsea Young for her mother when she was 11 years old.
I met Chelsea Young, the author of the book, when I was diving into the world of graphic design right after leaving dental school. I had no design experience; the only armor I carried with me was my love for art. I connected with her through a freelancing job website, and she took a chance on me. We worked on this book together for almost four years, and I’ve learned so much from the process and from her. Besides illustrating and formatting the book, I also created her logo, designed her book launch signages, social media posts, and even made stickers for her!
The book was illustrated by hand using watercolor paint. I created each illustration with care, capturing the essence of Chelsea’s vision through this medium.
I designed and hand lettered these signages for Chelsea's book launch! Event photos below are from the Color Everything Facebook page.
Some social media posts I designed, hand lettered and animated for the Color Everything brand.
