Anamosa, Iowa logo (Design contest winner)
After college, I moved to a small town in Iowa called Anamosa, where my then-boyfriend (now husband) has lived his entire life. While I was trying to break into the design workforce, an opportunity arose. My mother-in-law spotted an ad in the newspaper and immediately called to share it with me. As a recent graduate, I felt hesitant and questioned whether I was capable of designing a logo for a town. However, two weeks before the deadline, I decided to take the plunge and embrace the challenge, ultimately being selected for the project! Now, I see this pumpkin logo everywhere! :)
These are the logo designs I submitted, but the city expressed interest in collaborating with me to make some adjustments. They wanted the design to more closely resemble a pumpkin.
